The short version
- A Durango wheel bearing question starts with the generation. The 1998 to 2009 truck and the 2011 to 2018 crossover are different vehicles entirely, and 2010 never happened.
- 513324 covers the front from 2011 to 2018. 513271 covers the front from 2006 to 2009. The 1998 to 2003 trucks split further by drivetrain and brakes.
- The rear on the 1998 to 2009 truck is a solid axle, not a hub. The catalogs carry no bolt on number for it.
- One 1998 front left position prints two different numbers. The old part on the truck decides which one applies.
Two quite different vehicles wore this name. The 1998 to 2009 truck rode on its own frame. The 2011 to 2018 crossover shares its underpinnings with the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
No 2010 model year exists at all. That is a genuine production gap, not a missing part number.
The generation decides it
513324 covers the front from 2011 to 2018. 513271 covers the front from 2006 to 2009. Nothing carries across that boundary.
Establish which vehicle is in the driveway before ordering anything. The two generations never share a front number.
The earlier truck kept a bolt on hub too. It just used a different one for nearly every drivetrain and brake combination.
The early truck splits by drivetrain and brakes
The front hub for 1999 to 2003 depends on drivetrain and brakes. That means four wheel drive or rear wheel drive, and two wheel or four wheel ABS. Four numbers cover those combinations, plus a left and right split on the four wheel drive trucks.
By 2004 the catalogs collapse all of that into one part, WE61139. That single number covers 2004 and 2005 alone. The 2006 to 2009 truck then moves to 513271.
1998 is its own case, covered next. That year was four wheel drive only, since the rear wheel drive trim did not arrive until 1999.
One 1998 corner, two numbers
The 1998 model year carries two different front left numbers under the same label. They are WE61137 and WE61135, printed with nothing to separate them.
The old part on the truck decides which one applies. WE61137 also reappears for the 1999 to 2003 four wheel drive, four wheel ABS trucks. A left side hub carrying that number is not unique to 1998.
The front right for the same span has one answer, WE61007. It is used at both 1998 and 1999 to 2003 on the four wheel drive, four wheel ABS trucks.
The rear is a solid axle, not a hub
The first two generations of Durango carry a solid rear axle. The bearing and seal are built into the axle housing, not a bolt on hub. Real numbers exist for that housing in the catalogs.
The standing practice here is to point to the old part or the VIN instead. Printing a housing part as though it were a hub invites the wrong order.
The 2011 crossover changed this: its independent suspension takes a real rear bearing, WE60388. The difference between a hub and a housing bearing sits on the axle bearing page.
The Jeep sharing the newer front hub
The 2011 to 2018 Durango shares its platform with the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The front hub is cited across both vehicles.
A thin listing under the Durango name is worth checking against the Grand Cherokee page. Match the number rather than the badge.
The Grand Cherokee shares its platform outright here, not merely a hub in common with the Durango. Both are heavy vehicles, and towing loads the front hubs harder than everyday driving does.

Lookups run through the cross reference page.
Every model year this chart resolves: 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. There is no 2010 Durango: production ended the second generation in 2009 and the third began in 2011, so that year never existed to resolve.
Drivetrain and antilock brakes both change the number for those years. The four wheel drive trucks add a left and right split on top of that. A wrong guess on any one of those returns a number that will not fit.
Confirm drivetrain first, then brakes, before ordering anything for a 1999 to 2003 truck. The 1998 and 2004 to 2005 spans are simpler, but still worth checking against the old part.
Diagnosing a Durango wheel bearing
- Establish the generation, since 2011 changed the vehicle and its front number entirely.
- Check the build year against 1998, when two different front left numbers were printed for the same truck.
- Search the Jeep Grand Cherokee listings too on a 2011 or newer truck.
- Weave at road speed and note which side loads the noise.
- Compare hub heat across the front axle after a drive.
Those steps are on the checking page and the tire noise page.

Common questions
Which Durango wheel bearing do I need?
The generation decides it. 513324 covers 2011 to 2018 and 513271 covers 2006 to 2009. Older numbers split the 1998 to 2003 trucks by drivetrain and brakes.
Why does 1998 have two different front left numbers?
The catalogs print WE61137 and WE61135 under the same 1998 label. Nothing in the catalogs separates them, so the old part on the truck decides.
Why is there no rear number before 2011?
The 1998 to 2009 truck carries a solid rear axle, not a bolt on hub. Match the old part or the VIN for that housing instead.
What happened to the 2010 model year?
No 2010 Durango was built. Production ran the second generation through 2009 and started the third in 2011.
Can I buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee part?
513324 is cited across both vehicles for 2011 and newer. Match the number rather than the badge.
